Grade 9 is ideal, because the subjects your child chooses then begin to shape later options. Grades 10 and 11 still leave time to plan calmly. Grade 12 families can still join for the essay or the applications.
It is a short, personal report on where your child stands today, with answers to your questions and the first few micro-decisions worth making now. It is free because you should see how we think before you invest in any of our services.
Only what the report needs: your child’s grade and curriculum, their subjects and interests, and the questions on your mind. It takes a few minutes.
It reaches you within a couple of days of your answers. We read everything you share before we write a word.
No. The report is yours to keep, with no obligation. Some families stop there, and that is perfectly fine.
Yes. Each service stands on its own. The free report is a good place to start, not a requirement.
No. We are choice architects. Most families can plan their child’s college pathway themselves, given the time and the research. We do that research with you, and set out each decision in order, so your family can make it with clarity.
We hold no affiliation with any college or university. Agents are often paid a commission by the universities they recommend. We have no such interest, so the only list we care about is the one that fits your child.
No. We start with your child: their strengths, interests and the life they want to lead. The college list comes later, as the outcome of that work, not the starting point.
No. We look at universities in India and abroad, and help your family compare them on fit, cost and what they lead to.
IB, Cambridge IGCSE and A level, and CBSE, from Grade 9 onwards.
That is where most children start. The first steps of our framework are about discovering strengths and interests, and exploring the pathways that could fit. Clarity is the outcome, not the entry requirement.
A great deal, by design. The Launchpad includes a separate sitting with you, and every decision stays with your family. We bring the research. Your family makes the call.
No, never. Your child writes every word of every application. In the Personal Statement Canvas we help them discover their story and give it structure, and the writing is theirs.
Through guided one-to-one sessions in four stages: the Self, the Story, the Structure and the Style. Each stage has a workbook with prompts that surface your child’s own moments, and together they become a clear narrative your child writes from.
Your child does. Through the Nudge Programme we set a timeline, track every deadline and nudge before each one, but we never submit applications on your behalf.
No. We give you a straight view on whether a test is needed, and when, but we don’t sell or coach test preparation.
The Direction Report is free. The Launchpad Session is ₹25,000, the Personal Statement Canvas is ₹50,000, and the Nudge Programme is ₹15,000 a month, each plus 18% GST. Peer Advice is ₹5,000 an hour, plus 18% GST. The full detail is on the Offerings page.
Neither. Each service has one published price, whatever the number of colleges, and we take no commission from any university.
No. It is billed month by month, and you can stop when it no longer helps.
Yes. Choose one, several or none. Each service is priced on its own.
We don’t offer refunds, because you never pay in advance. We bill each service only after the work is done.
First- and second-year students at universities across the UK, Europe, Singapore and Australia. Every student joins the panel only after reference checks.
They share their own experience: courses, campus life, costs, what they wish they had known, and a peer read of your child’s essay. Admission requirements, strategy and recommendations come from us, not from the students.
₹5,000 an hour plus 18% GST, used in 15-minute credits. A call or chat counts by the clock, an answer by email counts as 15 minutes, and an essay read with written comments counts as one hour. 80% goes directly to the student, and North Star keeps 20% for matching, scheduling and safeguarding.
Every session is booked through North Star, with a parent kept informed. Students and families do not exchange private numbers.
No one can, and we won’t pretend to. Admissions depend on your child’s work, each university’s choices and the year itself. What we promise is a sound process, honestly run.
We don’t quote one. We work with families, and their offers are their achievements, not ours to advertise.
We respect the privacy of the families we work with, and we don’t publish their names or present their results as our marketing. The proof we can show you is your own Direction Report.
Both. Sessions can be held online, wherever you are, or at our office in Chennai.

One guide throughout, who knows your child and the plan, supported by our mentor circle and, if you choose Peer Advice, students who are there now.
